Free Support for Identifying Gaps in Year 7 Students' Understanding
Many students starting secondary school in September this year will have had their last two years at primary school considerably disrupted. In order to help secondary maths teachers assess students’ understanding and identify any gaps, new activities called Checkpoints are being produced. They will be available from the middle of July.
Are you a non-maths specialist?
The Maths Hubs Network is launching a new national professional development programme in 2021, which aims to provide non-specialist maths teachers with the specialist knowledge they need to support students to acquire mathematical understanding.
