Recover, Reimagine, Recruit!

Join us on Monday July 5th 2021 for an event not to be missed!

A collaboration between Yorkshire and Humber, South Yorkshire and East Midlands West Maths Hubs, this event is split into three separate events, details of which are below:

Monday 5th July 2021: 9.00am - 12.00pm

This free, online event is aimed at Headteachers, Principals and Senior Leaders in the Primary sector (encompassing Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2).

This event will provide the opportunity to:

  • share expertise on how to recover post-pandemic;

  • reimagine the mathematics curriculum through the support of Maths Hubs;

  • recruit colleagues, through greater awareness of Maths Hubs' offerings, to provide support post-pandemic and beyond.

Hear from guest speakers:

  • Debbie Morgan, (Primary Director of the NCETM) as she talks about the recovery and prioritisation materials

  • Simon Cox (EEF) on the impact of Covid

  • Hannah Stoten (Ofsted HMI) on upcoming research outcomes

  • Primary Headteacher Advocates on how working with Maths Hubs has brought about far-reaching positive change for them.

 

Monday 5th July 2021: 1.00pm - 4.00pm

This free, online event is aimed at Maths Leads and Maths Specialists in the primary sector (encompassing Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2).

This event will provide the opportunity to:

  • delve deeper into numbers;

  • get the latest primary updates;

  • drill further into the detail of maths pedagogy ;

  • engage in mathematical activities;

  • collaborate with fellow maths leads and specialists in the primary sector.
