Our puzzle in the last edition was taken from adapted from The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics: The Year Game:

Using the digits in the year 2025 and the operations +, −, x, ÷, () and powers, can you make the numbers 1 to 10? 

• All four digits must be used in the expression

• Only the digits 2, 0, 2, 5 may be used.

• Multi-digit numbers such as 20, 220, or 0.25 are not allowed.
